Re: Can someone help?
And you can discover you have a two-track mono show by magnifying the blue waves to see if they're identical, and the proof positive is split, invert and add. If the show vanishes, it's two track mono. You can also get an idea from watching the Audacity bouncing sound meter. If left and right bounce...

Re: Smpte timecode
And just because I'm genetically unable to leave well enough alone, we will, of course, be supporting Edit Decision Lists (EDL's) and automatic execution?

Re: Smpte timecode
Oh, there is this. The DV video format has Time but doesn't use SMPTE. They use "Frame Code." That is an established format and it might be possible to use that—to hide that in the Audacity editing system.

Re: Smpte timecode
I agree it would be a grand idea, but it would require a revamp of the Audacity editing format. Somehow, a third sound or data track will have to be made and Scotch Taped to a sound track. Re: problem with distortion when reducing tempo

Re: AIF Files Playback with static throughout
Except for the last one and the one before that. We did the process test once. Somebody complained about a product and then a different person went in and complained about exact same thing.they haven't had a single other complaint yet
That's odd. Nobody else had that problem......

Re: Limiter in 2.30
the limiter does not work Yes it does. What are you trying to do with it and which of the versions are you using? There's four: two Clips and two Limits. Limiter is a relational tool. It goes where you put it and does what you say whether there's any sound there or not. That's why I use it in combi...

Re: Not playing through USB headset
Maybe the fact that it plays everywhere else is the problem. Is one of those other programs Skype or other Chat program? Game? Skype famously doesn't "Play Well With Others." We should remember that USB headsets are not simple Microphone Device and Headphone Device. They are combined and s...

There's something wrong about that. I need to do some experimenting. You shouldn't need to do that.
