Re: OUTPUT RANGE FOR WEB E-LEARNING AUDIO
It's a lovely voice and I think we may be able to do something about the noise, but please follow the recipe in this post. http://www.kozco.com/tech/audacity/TestClip/Record_A_Clip.html Leaving the room doesn't count. The acoustic signature of the room changes when your body comes and goes—and it's ...

Re: Compiling project from data files
A hint. If it's a stereo show, the AU files alternate Left and Right. I think it's the first two AU files are picture data files that create the blue waves. They're not sound.

Re: Compiling project from data files
.aup file saved but my project is not in it. You can get that if you stopped the Save too soon. The AUP is the last thing created. What's the show? If it's a raw recording of a live performance (for example) you can sometimes use the file time and date stamps to re-assemble all the little clips. If...

Re: Audacity Stops Exporting/Crashes During Exporting
You ran out of room. I'd bet serious chocolate the drive has run out of room and won't support containing another show. There's just no place to put it. Do you have a backup disk you can shovel some of your older work onto and make room? No is not a good answer here. How do you make safety backups o...

Re: clipping during playback of recording using audacity
it has the clipping Do you shut down the Mac to zero, wait a bit and then start it after you do an update? I don't think it's clipping. There's nothing in the clip (past the terrific P-Popping damage) that could cause that. I couldn't find any obvious processing damage, either, but then I wouldn't ...

Are you on a corporate or training environment? Sometimes schools limit your ability to manage and share music. Did you sing or play the music? Do you have a stand-alone Windows machine?I have uploaded a song

Re: OUTPUT RANGE FOR WEB E-LEARNING AUDIO
My favorite irritation is somebody who reads slowly as for an eight-year-old. Really. If I miss something, I can roll it back. I suspect it's a business problem. Nobody is going to retire to Côte d'Azur with textbook readings. So nobody cares. @wuhan_87 That was just the answer to the question of th...

Re: Audiobook - skipping to a particular time code
It's Transport > Recording > Punch and Roll. But it seems to not like mono sound tracks. That's messy. There's a tool for it and any minute now I'm going to remember what we called it.

Re: Understanding sound levels
80% of Americans who need hearing correction but have never done anything about it WHAT?? I thought the clip after "mastering" with the four filter passes did sound processed. The two audible tools are the rumble filter (Low Rolloff) at the beginning and Noise Reduction at the end. If you...
