There's a Scarlett 2i2... In general, announce into the 2i2 and adjust until the volume knob is green. Meanwhile on Audacity, the blue wave tips should peak somewhere around half-way or a little less. I have noticed that my other projects are having problems too, one was also missing recording files I'm not going to be a lot of help. I'm a Mac elf. That is the wrong filename. The AUP file is looking for 1 to 345_data.

Quick note. If you put the effects in, Edit > UNDO to take them back out until you close Audacity. Audacity Projects do not save UNDO.

That talking into a wine glass sound is likely the performer trying to get rid of room or background noise and overdoing Effect > Noise Reduction . ...

It is recommended, strongly, that the performer Export a WAV protection copy of all original performances before they do anything to it. This against any failures or crashes, but also because we can't take most effects, filters and corrections out of a show.
