Re: Better narration, needs tuning?
I'm still really interested in your expert thoughts on improvements on EQ, presence, or anything else Then we'll be waiting for an actual theatrical expert which I'm not. I'm happy if you sound human. The only voice quality thing I noticed in the clip is the area between one and two seconds which s...

Re: Better narration, needs tuning?
Do you have anybody whose presentation you like? How do you compare to them? I noticed a new user affliction that they have no idea what's current and expected. This is where you say, "I really like the work of [Name Here]. His readings are clear and easy to listen to. That doesn't always work....

You didn't read far enough in "How to submit a test." https://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?p=349993#p349993 The second posting has actual graphic captures of their room tone requirements. This is a picture, so the links don't work. Screen Shot 2019-07-11 at 1.36.02.png Everybody ge...

will see what their feedback is. And post it. We build up our advice dictionaries by listing what works and what doesn't and how we fixed stuff in the past. For one example, ACX Check is totally home-grown by Flynwill assembling and organizing existing tools. ACX had nothing to do with it past publ...

Re: Struggling to be in ACX standards

This is a forum not a help desk and you won't always get the same helper elf time after time, and any poster can jump in to help. This is a lot worse than you think because in ...

Re: Bring on the critiques...
Or are you just saying to practice reading and being aware of the meter? I'm saying do practice runs while listening to yourself in your live action headphones to get a feel for what it sounds like when you're performing in range. http://kozco.com/tech/audacity/pix/lin-manuelMicrophone.jpg Do you r...
