Are they mono now? Press and hold Control while you click in the control point on each track you want to include. The track should toggle on and off each time you click on the same track. In other words, it should work like Windows. I take it you already know the control point shifted multiple times...

I import the original recording into Audacity, it automatically makes two different waves of blue.
