Re: How does the "Subliminal..." plugin work?
* Removing the sound of the waves No. It can't do that. If it does, there's no message. What it does is translate the sound of the waves to a domain only the subconscious can understand. * Slightly changing the Alpha wave frequency That's another speaker or headphone problem—getting them to respond...

Re: How does the "Subliminal..." plugin work?
Where did you find it? It seems to create a little radio station only instead of broadcasting a powerful signal from a tall tower, it does it with an ultra-sonic tone (dogs and bats can hear it). One problem with most tools like this is testing. There are many tools to test if an audio system is wor...

Re: breath removal
There is a way to improve the sound, but it's not automatic. Audacity has a new tool called Punch Copy/Paste. https://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?p=208312#p208312 You need a copy of clean background sound—room sound or Room Tone without breathing. Then drag-select the breath sound from the ...

Re: Remove Effects
We can't remove effects, modifications or improvements from a show. If you closed Audacity in the middle of production, it would erase the UNDO. As above, if you insisted on overwriting the original work, that's the end of the world. No professional would do that. I still have original live recordin...

Re: Output file duration limit?
Does it play? I'm betting no. I'm also betting that's not an MP3. You can use Media Info to figure out what it really is. https://mediaarea.net/MediaInfoOnline You can install FFMpeg software into Audacity so it will recognize and open many different types of sound file. https://www.audacityteam.org...

Re: Recording audio into audacity
Or not. Apparently, there's a microphone connection hiding behind the headphone socket.
That's Go (top of desktop) > Utilities > System Information.

Re: Recording audio into audacity
please tell us the model of your Mac and the model of microphone. What he said. Mac connections changed a lot and you need to give us a push. I'm typing on a 2013 Mac Mini. It has separate connections for stereo headphones and stereo recording like from a home music system. Similar to these two rou...

Re: Batch process lead-ins
I don't think I understand the question.
Do you have songs where the introduction music before the main theme is different lengths? you're stuck with that. We can't take the music apart and put it back together.
Or do you have silence at the beginning and each of the silences is different?

We should be clear the red lines are something I cooked up in Photoshop. They're not part of the display service.

Re: Fade Removal
There's actually two problems with that. It can't compensate for the bit that goes to zero, and the background noise comes up as you boost the sound. It's not "free."
