Re: Constnt Crashing. Unrecoverable projects.
as well as Audacity 2.32.... You should be really precise when you post on the forum. There is no Audacity 2.32. You can get Audacity 2.3.2 from here. https://www.audacityteam.org/download/ Audacity 2.23 may be designed and built by somebody else—and you're on your own for support. That and I don't...

Re: HELP! Step by Step ACX Requirements
I expect that people will want to tweak the macro to suit their needs Many people who post here just got their microphone out of the plastic wrap. Programming might be beyond them. I've never programmed a thing, so any code works for me. Is there a process for importing a straight .TXT file? It's p...

Re: HELP! Step by Step ACX Requirements
That should do it. Filter Length is not critical. Anything around 5000 should work. The original design had that setting at a stiffer 9000 in order to minimize interference from wall power problems in the US (60Hz). That turned out to not be necessary for most use. There should be a comment line wit...

Re: Constnt Crashing. Unrecoverable projects.
Urgent project due in 5 days so bit stressful. Can you do this on a different machine? Multiple crashes indicate to me starting inspections as to why and that could take a while. Audio (and video) is stressful for a computer and if it's not at the top of its game some really nasty things can happen...

Re: fuzzy/electronic voice
You're stuck with it. I'm much more interested in how you got there. Is the house listening to the mixer or are you completely divorced from the performance? Does it sound OK there? Were you listening on headphones? What's the connection between the mixer and the computer? Some part of the system is...

Re: HELP! Step by Step ACX Requirements
I'm remembering this now. There was a problem telling the Equalizer which curve to use (Low rolloff...). It would forget its curve and do it in such a way that the curve load command failed—or something like that. If you were doing ACX by hand, you could easily work around it, but the Macro would ju...

Re: Youtube audio samplerate; cut off in spectrogram?
The audio will display the worst sample rate of the process. For example, if you included download music in your top quality production, the music would have all the restrictions and distortions of the ratty download you used, not the high quality of the show. This is why we urge strongly not to use...

You mean a Macro? I think somebody already did, or got really close.

Re: Time Shift NOT working
I would split the existing track in two and copy the second half to a new track. Put the addendum on a third track. Time Shift all the tracks until they line up. Audacity will smash everything together into one track when you export. From left to right: First half, addendum, second half. Screen Shot...
