Re: "Pumping" on some speakers, not all Speakers
Are we talking about the same thing? R1580MB are BlueTooth speakers. Not USB. I don't know I would trust BlueTooth with anything quality. I've had some nasty problems with BlueTooth. In one instance, the BlueTooth service shuts down periodically for maximum efficiency and then wakes up again when it...

Re: "Pumping" on some speakers, not all Speakers
they are very bass-y for voice stuff. I see a bass control on the back panel. Nothing about processing in the instructions, but since it's USB connected, it doesn't go through the regular soundcard. Did you install a driver? Does the speaker maker show up on a Windows search? Windows Control Panels...

Re: "Pumping" on some speakers, not all Speakers
BY "ACX Check" I mean the Audacity plugin. Yes, I have two audiobooks out there, and the plugin has always accurately predicted approval. (although I'm not sure if ACX cares about this noise gate issue) We expect ACX Check to accurately predict passing the actual ACX Hardware or Robot tes...

The Black Silence of Space. Yes, that's one of the results if you use a gate wrong. I would be digging in my Windows machine and see if you have any playback effects applied. I once got a machine from the Systems people in our company that had "Cathedral Effects" running during playback an...

Re: Audio Clipping Heard in Game but not in Audacity
Things I've come across really don't explain how to process hundreds of files at once in a way that eliminates the silence only at the beginning and end of the track. If all the silences are the same size, you should be able to program that in a Macro (batch process)...I think. If the software has ...

Re: Low recording level
You're going to need to throw a lot more info in there. What are you recording and how is the microphone plugged in? Did you start with a clean shutdown of Windows 10? Shift-Shutdown? Do you use Skype or other conference or chat app? Audacity 2.3.0 is two versions old. You can get 2.3.2 from here. h...

The soundcloud posting is private and locked, so we can't pull it down and analyze it.

Re: Improve quality of a phone call
If it's mono (one blue wave), select about 20 seconds of it, export as WAV and post it here on the forum. Scroll down from a text window > Attachments > Select Files. Your question sounds like you do this all the time. You don't, right? This only happened once and it's never worked right? Unless you...

Re: latency problems wont go away
You can get odd recording problems if you have Edit > Preferences > Recording > [_] Sound Activated Recording selected. It should not be selected.only 7 clicks are displayed.
