Re: Reading ACX Check
should take 10 to 14 days. That's about right. Posters used to submit and then get a fresh cup of tea to wait. I said, "You know... it can take up to a week..." That was about a year ago. It's faster if you mess up the hardware tests: Peak, RMS or Noise. Those are automated and those die ...

Re: Need to change voice but Kerovee audio quality sucks
I may be on the wrong machine. There was a gamer that came up with a passable voice changer by accident. His goal was a troglodyte or some other adventure character and found he could slide his voice up a down a little without destroying it. Surprised him and everybody else. This might take a while....

Re: Need to change voice but Kerovee audio quality sucks
There is another problem. Audacity doesn't do anything in real time. It's all post-processing. Record something perfectly and then mess with it.

Re: Need to change voice but Kerovee audio quality sucks
Doesn't even have to be something for Audacity It kind of does. The elves' strong point is Audacity tools and services. You would need to find somebody on the forum with Kerovee experience and an Audacity question. And more to the point, as you found, there are no good Audacity tools for "Chan...

Re: Audacity stops recording after about six seconds. [solved]
It's best to start a new post instead of piggy-backing onto a previously solved post, particularly if their solution didn't work for you. other application may be competing for resources. I'm not shocked. Games, Chat and Skype all use similar pathways and resources and in the case of Skype, it can c...

Re: Click Removal in macro
Seems to have a limit of around 95-97 files. Did you try a different machine? It's possible that's a hardware memory limit and nothing we do is going to solve that. two problems that I can't get around...near 4,000 files to process It looks like that's correct. This isn't simple audio production an...

Re: Orphan Block Wiped session
The whole top part of that, in English, is "You don't have FFMpeg installed." The missing block files messages are a lot more serious. We have some problems with third party postings. It's bad enough we get to diagnose the problem blind over multiple time zones, but playing the "Telep...

Re: Click Removal in macro
You might be running into the problem where Macros can't make a decision. If you're using Normalize, you might try Amplify instead. They're sister tools. If you just run Amplify with no settings, it will boost volume until it can't any more because there's no room. If you're trying to tame a bunch o...
