Re: How do I run two timer recordings at the same time?
live using Audacity and bump up against the next Timer Record start? Or overlapping events. You know somebody is going to want to stop one and start the next at the exact same time. No gaps. I think the only graceful way out (other than two computers) is make a third event longer than one sleep. Koz

I believe you only get one Timer Event and I'm pretty sure you can't automate it with Macros. Somebody will post.I could sleep through the night
I would do the job in three passes and make the one in the middle long enough to sleep.

A cousin forum posting got a similar error by trying to record a Stereo show with Audacity set for Mono.

Re: How do I record in MONO?
Audacity doesn't apply filters, effects or corrections on record and it gets its sound from Windows. So it's up to you to convince Windows to make a mono mix. Much of the time if you tell Audacity to record Mono and the show is in Stereo, it will just fail. It's not just jamming Left and Right toget...

Re: Not recognizing audio from turntable after Catalina Update
That's a kick in the head, isn't it? I can think if a lot of corporate reasons they would want that.Apple decided to only allow software that they say you can run.

Re: Any tips for recording rain
If you go the pre-baked route, you will be missing the war stories of what you went through to get the track. You'll also be missing the experiences which could be valuable against the time you can't find a pre-baked sound for your show—and you have to shoot it. Also, if you shift the point of view ...

Revert. Catalina created a number of unexpected oddities and sharp turns.I will have to revert back
Also, it's probably a good idea to keep your machine from making auto/unsupervised updates—at least while you're working.

Re: Delay on Recording
I can't tell from the post what you're doing. Voicemeeter is a routing system not a musical instrument. If you're singing over an existing musical track, you don't need Voicemeeter. Audacity Overdubbing will do that just fine. If you're trying to sing to an on-line backing track, that will never wor...
