One method of streaming recording is to record the speaker signal. Guaranteed what you hear is what you get. However you can never turn the volume down without damaging the recording. You might want to rethink walking into a programming community and calling their software "buggy." That's like meeting someone for the first time and asking if their parents ever got married. Not a good start. It's not.

Audacity is an audio production program and doesn't do very much in real time. That and it doesn't always get along with other sound programs like games or game routing. Audacity won't run from an internet, cloud or network drives. It should be on your machine like C:\ or D:\

Sometimes schools or companies will not let you run software on your local drives.
