Re: Remove frequency ranges
Note the blue lines are the design center and the green squiggles are what's actually going to happen. That illustration is centered at 1000Hz. That green error effect gets worse as you go down in frequency. looking to get a tone with a constant frequency so there isn't a problem about the frequency...

Re: echo suddenly manifests on completed audio playback...
You should probably not start any more work until you settle this. If you're reading to the wrong format accidentally, you may have to do some of it over again anyway. There is an up side to this. Your first reading is the one were you make all the mistakes. The second reading or second pass is almo...

This forum, as a rule, has very snappy response times. Some forums go weeks..... nothing has made an impact so far on my issue That's because nobody ha...

Re: Remove frequency ranges

Re: Random Squeaking Noises
There is nothing about this problem that's normal.
The Yeti microphone is famous for passing USB 5 volt quality problems on to the sound.
By the way, there is a Yeti-Pro model which is much more expensive and doesn't have Yeti Curse as near as we can tell.

Re: Random Squeaking Noises
There are ways of dealing with a noisy room. This is a kitchen table sound studio. https://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?p=369938#p369938 In case the noise is coming up through the floor, you can try book/towel isolation. http://kozco.com/tech/audacity/pix/MicBookTowel-500t.jpg An actual book...

Re: Impossible to record a second track
If you're overdubbing, both the record and playback devices have to work and they have to match. For example, my Behringer interface is named USB Audio CODEC in Audacity. For overdubbing, my playback can't say Built-In Output. They have to both say USB Audio CODEC . Again for overdubbing, Audacity h...

Re: echo suddenly manifests on completed audio playback...
.I lost the entire book I read using audacity, when it crashed Lets zoom out a minute. Are you planning on submitting to ACX for publication? You don't have to do that, but they're the major publisher and they're the ones with the published production standards. One of their standards is to submit ...
