<<<Maybe that feature is for the Beta version.>>>
It's possible. I don't run the Beta version. It's all I can handle to deal with the stable one.
Write back if you find anything.

As a practical matter, probably not.
By the way, at least the first two data (au) files are pictures, not audio.

Re: selectin .aiff export
Audacity (the stable version) will not export AIFF. However .WAV files will drop right into iTunes. Depending on preferences, iTunes is going to beat up the file pretty badly anyway, so as a practical matter, it doesn't have to be perfect. AIFF and WAV files are both high quality, uncompressed forma...

Re: export mp3
I don't think I can follow that. You have a minute long MP3 that you want to edit down to half-minute and save it on your PC? Say it again and use different words.

Re: Tinny Playback
You have two contradicting symptoms. Tinny vinyl usually means that you're recording the straight sound from the record and not the sound run through a Phono Preamp which straightens that problem out (the famous RIAA equlization curve). You also used the USB connection which doesn't have that proble...

Click on the file and select Open With and point it to QuickTime instead of iTunes. While it's playing, press Apple-I to get the INFO panel and that will tell you what kind of file it is. If it has never played on your machine and QuickTime can't open it, then you have a damaged file or a file that ...

Re: Recording Volume Too Low with source level to high?!
The instructions tell me that the mixer has a peak audio meter, but won't let me get close enough to read the numbers. Are they "0" on the top? and negative numbers from there down? It's important that we're all singing from the same hymnal. If it is a classic peak digital meter, then over...

Re: Version 1.4
The reason we're all staring at you with a stunned expression is that Audacity 1.4 is the legendary stable release version of 1.3. The version that isn't out yet. For anybody. So I don't know that it's possible to give you valuable advice. If you have difficulty you can certainly blow away 1.4 and i...
