<<<I toggle back and forth between mono and stereo and I get both sides. >>>
No. Not exactly. Audacity only reliably pays attention to preference changes after you restart the program. After you restart Audacity, the preference changes will be exactly correct.

Re: load MP3 encoder with several projects running
<<<I can't save the newly edited files.>>> <<<tried to export the files.>>> In the world of Audacity, those two are reeeeeeealy different. Save A Project... gives you a show management environment. Export As... gives you a sound file that you can email to your mom. I would slowly back yourself out o...

Re: vst-bridge crash
[vst-bridge.so] That is the filename. That's a copy/paste from my desktop display. It's possible that people who have plugin problems really have Audacity Version Problems. Were you able to get lame to work? Are you running 1.2.6 or 1.2.4? 1.2.5 is strictly for the Intel people. I don't do the Audac...

Re: Recording with out the built in mic.
<<<obviously being picked up by the mic>>> And sometimes not so obvious. More than one person has recorded the room speakers with the built-in mic instead of the actual performance. "My show has echoes and is muffled..." If OS-X has enough trouble getting an external digital device to work...
Re: Crashing
<<<Where do I send crash report ?>>> You should probably hang onto it as a cultural artifact of a program that will soon be obsolete. 1.4.x is waiting in the wings for the instructions and support to be finished. Six things can kill Audacity on a Mac: Hard drives filling up. Multiple programs trying...

So you're not going to whip this out before lunch?
I'm crushed.

Re: Playback issues
Just to be Obsessive/Compulsive, a good recordable CD is a CD-R, not CDR. And just to be clear, we're talking about a music CD, not a data CD. There should be a software package--a music CD authoring package--between your WAV file and the music CD that comes out of the computer. I use iTunes, Easy C...

Re: Seaker Balance Problem
One more thought as I was doing laundry. I'm running out of fabric softener.
But beside that. Using the Windows tools and track mentioned above, can you make the problem worse?

Re: Seaker Balance Problem
<<<About the freaky stuff, i couldn't hear any....>>> You won't. You need both channels working correctly for the fourth cut to sound like it's coming from behind you. That's part of how this test works. I get the list of what didn't work and then try to divine what happened. Did you open this clip ...
