Re: Saving AUP files?

And yes, it's perfectly correct that once you have your WAV or MP3, you can delete everything else, AUP, _data Folder, AU files, etc. That's assuming you never want to go back and recut anything. I don't understand how you got so many Project (AUP) files. You know you can cut your whole show on one ...

Re: Saving AUP files?

<<<I'm not sure what your second question is asking.>>> I am. The poster went into the _data folder to get his sound files like everybody else does and can't figure out why they act funny. They act funny because they're not sound files. Sometimes, under certain conditions, some of the files in the _...

Re: Sound Input Error

I'm just really looking closely at my Mini, and it's set to Line-In, but Audacity is set to Default Input. And it works. Do you have or can simulate one of these: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2453699&cp=&sr=1&origkw=3.5mm+rca&kw=3.5mm+rca&parentPage=searc...

Re: .act conversion

You stumped the band. Unless one of the other posters has heard of it, you may be out of luck. Wikipedia's never heard of it and the only Google hits I get are people asking exactly the same question you did. I'm surprised it ever worked in Audacity. The program is not usually very foreign format fr...

Re: Recording problem

Another direction. Rereading the first post. Most PC laptops only have microphone level inputs. I'm assuming from your slightly odd sentence that you have all three audio connections on your laptop; Line-In, Mic-In, and Headphone-Out (or Line-Out). Is that correct? Or do you only have the usual two;...

I bet it starts working. Your computer may not have enough moxie to play a...

Re: Recording problem

Wait a minute. You're on a PC. Open Windows Sound Recorder and see if that works any better.

Windows Sound Recorder
Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Entertainment
