Re: LAME MP3 NOT WORKING ON MY MAC HELP!

For an Intel machine (jury's still out on Leopard) you should be running Audacity 1.2.5. You should have downloaded libmp3lame.osx.universal.3.987.zip which should have decompressed into libmp3lame.dylib .. 708 KB .. Mar26, 2007, 12:12 AM. I know I had trouble with the ZIP file type, but I did event...

Re: Effect problem

Do you know that all the sound clips were of the same data standard and did they match the Audacity Preferences? A work-around might be to bring your individual music clips into Audacity one at a time and Export As Wav... to bring them into conformance. Then bring the "clean" files back in...

<<<audio files that are in WMA format and needs them to be converted to MP3.>>> First, you're not converting between two things. You're converting between three. Windows Media is, or can be, a very aggressive processor and data compressor. I don't mean that in a bad way. Windows Media was very well ...

<<<I mounted the machine with two boards.>>> You mounted the machine with two audio devices and Audacity can only see one of them at any one time. Even if Windows is aware of both boards and can make them both work at the same time, the only way you will be able to get that into Audacity is to captu...

<<<for some reason there's no .bak of it.>>> There won't be a bak if you never saved a project multiple times. The AUP-BAK file is always one project version behind. The cute little AU files aren't your whole project. It's the cute little AU files plus all your original capture clips and asset files...
