<<<Yes, I've used it for two projects and it worked just fine when I was recording an audiobook in Jan and Feb. >>> That's too bad. You're really close to Stump The Band time. Re: Right channel only recording
<<<when looking at a timeline, the top is the left channel and the bottom is the right channel, correct??>>> Yes, that's correct. There are quite a few reasons you could get left only, but no reasons you can get right only. <<<Alesis Multimix 12 Firewire.>>> Has this box ever worked anywhere? Does i...

Re: Weird Issue - Audacity in Lab Setting/User Template
I don't think Audacity is network aware.
I'm trying to think of why you would want that. You want the local machine to do production locally, but do it from a program on a server? Is it a real program server?

Re: Can I delete the aup files?
<<<Deleting aup/au files and emptying your trash should have no impact on your iTunes library.>>> You can get into trouble if you have your iTunes set wrong. iTunes by default does not move music files into the iTunes managed folder. This is a drive efficiency measure and doesn't affect most people....

Re: Massive memory leaks in 1.3.5
I bet I know some of this. The early Audacitys were lean, mean, and fast but would routinely trash people's shows because nobody understood how the program managed resources. I wonder if they got around this by never forgetting or leaving any part of the show resource, clip, snippet, or file unmanag...

Re: Exported WAV has an "error" - Help
The natural format for Audio CD is 44100 at 16 bits, but I think the objection that the software has is the 32-bit floating business. I've made good Audio CDs from 48000/16.

Re: Disc won't play on CD player
Sometimes multi-talented software can't figure out what you want and will stop and ask which type of disk is needed. And it's not always easy to tell. I recently delivered two CDs to a client. Both had the same music track on it. One had only that music track on it, so that one became a Music CD and...

I'll drop a note to one of the forum administrators and see if they know.
