Re: Stereo Playback, Left and Right Stagger
<<<Cakewalk Audio Creator records just fine>>> We're missing some important steps in the middle. You have a playback complaint, but you never said where the recording comes from. Can we assume you're making a live recording? Can we also assume that the bouncing lights red record sound meters do not ...

Re: Subtracting non-identical audio ?

Those are dB values of the loudness of the energy. Frequency along the bottom. Do the same thing with the Equalization tool. Pull the...

Re: GOOD QUALITY RECORDING
If you're trying to record a live performance, Audacity preference settings are almost irrelevant compared to microphone type and setup, room noise, micpre setup and adjustment, etc. etc.

Re: LAME MP3 NOT WORKING ON MY MAC HELP!
<<<it turns out I have 1.2.6>>> Given that you should be running 1.2.5, yes, that's a problem. From the web site notes: =============== Lame It's possible to have the right computer and the right lame and the wrong Audacity. Make sure everything is correct. http://audacityteam.org/help/faq?s=install...

Re: Recording Volume extremely low
Do you have an iPod or other MP3 player? Get yourself a male to male 3.5mm stereo audio cable and plug the iPod at full volume into the Line-In of the sound card. If you can't get good volume, you have a broken card.
