Try this. From 13 seconds to 22 seconds I applied a special equalization curve. The beginning and end of the performance are untouched. http://www.kozco.com/audacity/DrumbeatFireEq3.mp3 If that works for you, I can figure out how to send you the curve. This should be possible. Mixer. A mixer will give you real time management of multiple microphones and/or high-level sources and provide headset monitoring. No shortage of people who want Audacity to do real-time production. Sure. Close Audacity. Apple > System Preferences > Hardware > Sound > Input. Is your sound device listed there? Select it and then play something.
