How are you dealing with OS versions? I have one Intel Mac, but no Leopard. Most of our Mac world at the shop is older Power PC chips and non-Leopard operating systems.

If they're a linked stereo track, you need to unlink them with Black Down Arrow >Split Stereo Track. Then make them both mono (same dialog box). Select the voice track only and Effect > Invert. Radio/wireless/bluetooth keyboard and mouse.
You can get really long cables for your screen, so you have everything but the fan noise in there with you. This is where laptops rule. The fans in those are much quieter.

Oh, one more. I don't think the microphone comes with a shock mount, so it will pick up noises from whatever you sit it on.
