Re: Help with converting to mp4 for my iPod?
Video iPods have a special frame size that you have to hit to make the video fit. iPods won't scroll around to make up the difference like a laptop or deskside video will.
And Audacity is a music-only editor which isn't going to help you a bit.

Thank you, but I need the mechanical pieces between you and the computer. Which microphone, which mixer, which MicPre, etc. and how are they connected? Model numbers are good.

You're installing Mac Audacity 1.2.5, right? That's the Intel version.
"For Mac OS X (Intel): Audacity 1.2.5 (.dmg file, 3.4 MB) - The latest version of the free Audacity audio editor."

Re: Newbie: How to record the 'actors' voices form a dvd??
<<<Koz, would this voice isolator be an effective way to cut static out of poorly recorded audio? Would I be able to get only the voices and none of the static/wind noise?>>> No. Probably not. Static and wind noise tend to be messy and affect everything in the sound field. They also tend to be broad...

Re: Question about Normalization (how does it work in Audaci
That's a nasty surprise, isn't it? I always assumed "Normalize" affected both tracks the same. It doesn't , does it? [email protected]#$%^ There may be something in 1.3.x that causes the two channels to be linked. A Normalize that messed with the stereo image isn't nearly as useful as you would want. If ...
