I applied the three tools in Audiobook Mastering... MasteringSuite.png ... and the clip passes. Screen Shot 2020-03-24 at 10.55.51.png So you could stop right there. No other tools. However, you don't pass noise by all that much and I would add very gentle noise reduction of the beast, 6, 6, 6. But....

Catalina created all sorts of problems for Audacity. If the files opens, be happy.

Be warned if you need to record from a microphone, check it now before you bet the farm. It may not work.
