<<<Do you have the plan to fix this on the next release?>>>
I don't think Gale Andrews personally has any plans to fix it, no.
And I can tell you that Export Multiple under Highly Experimental 1.3.7 doesn't work at all.
So it's different.

Re: Shortcuts with ALT on Mac
I'm taking notes. If I open a simple song in 1.2.5, I can press the spacebar immediately and the song starts playing. If I open the same song in 1.3.7, Spacebar will not play the song unless I click somewhere inside the waveform, click in the timeline menu panel at left, or click somewhere on the bo...

Re: Utterly Baffled by Volume Issues
Where to start.. If you do a straight integration of live music and live microphone into a plain show, They will, almost without exception sound just about the same and create the same waveforms. Neither one will be particularly loud. If you integrate a live microphone with professionally produced a...

Re: Keyboard shortcut interference
The Mac people can close Audacity and trash their Audacity Preference File (audacity.cfg). Audacity will start over at the next launch at First Birthday with all the key dependencies hopefully gone. It's worked before. Of course, all your preferences will be gone, too, so you''ll have to go back in ...

But only, if I understand it, you can run it all from C: on the command line. I believe it's all the "Click Here" and "Drag That" that the poster is trying to get rid of. Think Batch, Batch, Batch.

<<<some CD players display the title as they are playing the recording.>>> I don't think that's a part of the original RedBook specification. What's the possibility the players are going on-line to figure out the title? That's what iTunes does. If you create music CDs with mixed media or meta-data, ...

Re: USB recording = good enough; everything else, different!
Quick note on USB microphones. You can only get as far away from the computer as the longest USB cable--which isn't all that long. No such thing as parking the noisy computer in the bedroom down the hall from your "studio."

Re: Stereo Mix/Microphone Recording Issues
Yes, and yes. You can clean up these tracks by applying the Normalize Filter and only click on Remove DC Offset (Do not select anything else). Your computer is creating sound tracks with internal battery voltage leaking into the sound. I have one USB audio device which does that. I don't use it for ...
