Have you tried Verify Disk and Repair Permissions in Applications > Utilities > Disk Utilities? If you have an older machine, you may need to restart the machine on your install CD (Put the CD in and hold "C" during startup and release it when the Apple appears). Then go into the utilities...

If it's worked in the past, close Audacity and restart the machine. You can get the Windows Sound Services and Audacity out of step and they stop talking to each other.

Are you Exporting Multiple from the original turntable capture project? What happens if you clear all the labels and Export As WAV, load the single stand-alone WAV file, chop it up again and try the Export Multiple?
