Did you get new speakers? The Vocal Removal tools don't permanently change your machine, however, your speakers could be mis-wired and you're just now paying attention. Play the Left-Right sound clip from here... http://www.kozco.com/tech/soundtests.html ...and make sure only the last segment sounds...

So you're on a Mac? You don't have to do that. Close Audacity and when it asks if you want to save anything, say no. If you crash the program, the Project Rescue Services will launch and that may very well step on your old project.

iTunes main window doesn't count. What you're intended to do is create a playlist and import your music into that/those. Those services are entirely customizable and song order stays where you put it.
