Re: ACX RMS level
That's not the best idea particularly with me because my up-bound speed won't support video. It barely supports email. I sometimes have enough time to make breakfast while a cheery text greeting posts. I'm investigating the best way to split your post into an independent message since you have a ver...

Or he could read as is, cut it, and post it on an on-line service. We'll quietly apply the corrections and send it back.
Piece o' cake.
Also, see that orange "Donate" button in the upper right.

MasteringSuite.png That's the shortcut. The whole instruction page is in that link from DVDDoug. It's harder to pass ACX ...

Re: recording dj mix
The Scarlett Solo is a mono adapter. You can pick whether you want to record Stereo Left _or_ Stereo Right...not both. I use a Behringer UCA-202 with my non-USB mixer. That's an affordable full stereo-in and stereo-out USB adapter with headphone monitoring. https://www.kozco.com/tech/audacity/pix/pe...

Re: Audacity doesn't open certain project
me trying to import an .aup file. Close Audacity and open the .aup file in a text editor. Just to look. Don't save anything. It should look something like this. This one has been cleaned up a little for the picture, but these are the parts. Note the show name is burned into the programming. https:/...

Re: Advice on meeting specs with no post production allowed
I understand no acx mastering tools applied, which leaves me really clueless Maybe that's not exactly right. Many first-posters on the forum assume they can record bad voice and "clean it up" in Audacity. You can't, but everybody keeps trying. If you were a client and heard some of that w...

Re: Export WAV file in dB scale
The default display is in percent. 1 = 100%. That lets you see the loudest 25dB of the show which is usually most important. If you really want to see the dB scale, you can do that with the drop-down menu on the left > Waveform (dB) . It won't change the show at all. You're just looking at it differ...

Which Audacity is that? Audacity 2.3.3 doesn't have a length slider or those green trace errors.
