Purchased iTunes songs have FairPlay® copy management and they're in AAC file format that Audacity doesn't understand. See if iTunes will let you make a Music CD with the songs. You can rip the Music CD songs in CDEX to WAV files which Audacity knows how to edit.

Re: Record multiple tracks with multiple inputs
You're allowed to argue with me here. I'm going with the known problems that VOIP has and logical extrapolation of other people's problems. Someone posted that if you have Stereo Mix on your sound card, you can record the port that feeds your speakers, so anything that appears there is fair game. Au...

Re: removing part of the track that don't want?
I talked to some of the rock band people in the building and they tell me some bass guitars have tiny amplifiers in them and the battery has to be healthy for them to work right.

Re: Recording noise using USB turntable
<<<Has anyone heard of this problem? >>> Oh, yes. Thousands. A good way to clear a room is to announce, "Hi, I have trouble with my USB turntable!" You wouldn't think you could get ten people through a door all at once, but there they go. It's not the Mac. You bought a throw-away turntable...

But the bass works plugged into its own amplifier, right? Are you sure?

Who made the keyboard? Model numbers? One of my keyboards is a Yamaha DGX-500.

Re: iTunes AAC to Audacity MPEG
<<<Or, how can I arrange that Audacity converts to WAV. >>> Audacity doesn't convert well. It's a simple audio editor. <<<Where can I go to select WAV format for importing into Itunes.>>> In Windows it would probably be itunes > Edit > Preferences > CD > importing. Re: Record multiple tracks with multiple inputs
Audition can't do it, either. The only two ways to record both sides of a Skype or Vonage telephone call are the company's own software package or the paid license of Pamela. <<<I want to record my microphone on one track. And "mixage Stereo" (not sure of English translation) on another tr...

Re: Mono to Stero from mini DV tape
There is no mono on a MiniDV tape. Did you tell iMovie to import it mono by accident (like that's never happened to me)? <<<my audio still matches my movie but is played in stereo?>>> Are you confusing Stereo with Two Track Mono? The best you can do with an actual mono show is two exact copies of mo...
