Re: Error Message

<<<I don't know how to correct source code. >>> Good thing. I don't, either. However, this isn't source code. It's easily editable in any text editor (TextEdit set to Plain Text) XML listings. Is that the exact XML code (AUP FIle) for the show that failed? While I look for the problem, please know t...

Re: Error not well formed

Error characters, not just Swedish ones. And it was on line 5. The AUP file doesn't pay any attention to line length, so if you display the code on a narrow monitor, the longer lines will fold over and look like new lines. They're not. Here's a simple screen capture to illustrate. http://kozco.com/t...

Re: App not responding when opening small file

It plays very nicely by itself on an Intel/Tiger machine. Open it up in QuickTime and Apple-I Info the audio standards. How are you playing it? I'm guessing in combination with a bunch of other stuff, right? This clip is 22500 which probably isn't going to match everything else you're doing. If you ...

Re: RealTek Audio issue - NOT "HD" Sound

A good first stab at this would be 44100, 16-bit, Stereo. That's the Music CD audio standard and just about everybody supports it. Does the sound card work with any sound application? Does it capture with Windows Sound Recorder? Windows Sound Recorder Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Entertainmen...

Re: Error Message

One of two things happened, either you got your filenames wrong, or you have a corrupted AUP file. Here's more than you ever wanted to know to investigate this.

<<<A USB lead ought to work in any event.>>> A question that's forcing it past my lips: Do you know the sound level of a guitar pickup? Re: Audio Interface is recognized, but no sound?

Audacity has its own preferences panel for selecting its input. That and it's always a good idea to change the Audacity preferences when you're trying to do something like this for the first time. 44100, 16-bit, Stereo. The earlier Audacity defaulted to 44100, 32-bit floating, Mono. That doesn't wor...
