Worth a shot. I'm surprised SoundFlower didn't work. Do you use either Vonage or Skype? They mess up the sound pathways really good.

Nobody jumped right on this because I think you may have used the wrong words in the question. You recorded a live presentation with you singing in front of a microphone. You saved the Project and then Exported As MP3. When you play that music file in a fresh Audacity, it doesn't sound right? Koz
