Your old Windows Deskside. Chances of this working with a Windows Laptop are a good deal less likely as many of them don't have Line-In or any convenient way to get one.

Audacity will export music selections with a Label at the beginning of each one on the timeline. How sure are you that there aren't two labels right on top of each other?
