That and neither of these will ever be any better quality than the stuff you put in. If you started with an 8-bit quality sound clip in a 32-bit Audacity project, your 16-bit export will have....8 bit quality.

Re: When recording multiple tracks, Audacity re-records all!
You can send the total output of the computer out to be recorded instead of just the new pieces. This is fairly easy to get by mistake because it's the same settings you use for recording Internet Radio Shows. Re: Multiple tracks editing sound distortion problem
<<<(one of them was mono but I converted it into stereo before editing),>>> While you're converting anyway, convert the sample rate one to the other. And to address one possible problem, Unless you tell it not to, Audacity will mix down your multi-channel show by simply adding everything up. That au...

Re: Export Multiple to iTunes
<<<show up in iTunes just like my CDs do>>> You know they don't really do that, right? There are no titles on a Music CD. iTunes inspects the structure, timing, and other characteristics of your CD and looks up the titles, album name, and album art (if any) on GraceNote®. Anyway, I can hear the othe...

Re: Multiple Export WAV Crashes on 1.3.7
It's almost never a glitch with the application. You have a billion gigs of drive space available, but did you error check and defrag it? Past the first one, did any of your Audacity installs ask you "English?" at the beginning? If they didn't, then you didn't do a "clean" instal...

Re: Multiple tracks editing sound distortion problem
<<<Any idea what I did wrong?>>> You, probably nothing. However, Audacity isn't a particularly good audio format converter, so if their sound files differ too much in technical specifications from your original ones, there could be trouble. Use Super or Switch to convert everything to one standard b...

Re: Bug in "timer record"
Audacity doesn't save sound files. It saves Projects which are show building blocks sometimes running into thousands of files. To get a single, stand-alone sound file requires you to Export one.

Where did you get the music from? Some copy protection schemes can do that. Did you rip one of your own Music CDs with CDEX?

Re: New to Audacity - cannot record Internet Radio
