Re: E-Books
That is totally a function of your Music CD Authoring Program. Most of them allow you to arrange your music selections however you wish and burn them in that order. The good programs allow you to eliminate or change the standard two-second gap between "songs." However, the limit on a Music...

Re: Won't Save
You can get problems like this if you try to put punctuation marks inside a file or folder name. You can't use 4/30/09 as a date. The slash marks drive computers nuts. 20090430 instead. Upper and lower case letters, numbers, underscore and dash are the only characters allowed inside good filenames. ...

Re: Help, would like best settings for LP copying
The settings for the least fuss are the ones for a Music CD. 44100, 16-bit, Stereo The best export format is Microsoft WAV. The other default settings are either good to go for almost everything, or don't matter unless you're doing something wacky. I personally would transition over to Audacity 1.3 ...

Re: Multiple Export WAV Crashes on 1.3.7
If it asked you "English?" then you did a "clean install." No need to mess around in the Dreaded Windows Registry. We wish the developers would stop calling 1.3 the "unstable" version. There is a series of newer Mac machines where 1.3.7 is the only versions that works r...

Re: When recording multiple tracks, Audacity re-records all!
Without looking up and analyzing the mixer, does it have Mix-Minus, Preview, Pre Fade Listen, or Solo busses? If the headphones are stuck to the mixer output, then your only option is to listen to the computer headphone outputs and just use the mixer for the live performance. That can give you diffe...

Re: When recording multiple tracks, Audacity re-records all!
You are almost certainly recording "Mix-Out" or "What U Hear." That's a Windows setting. You should only be recording Line-In or Mic-In depending on what you want to do. <<<PC with the UCA200 USB to RCA sound card.>>> Oop. Stand corrected. You're coming in USB. Does the USB devic...

Re: Removing thumps and bumps
I'm clear this is counterproductive, but the full quality WAV Exports are easier to clean and/or manage. MP3 introduces its own errors.

<<<Are you saying they have been able to remove the whistle from the audio >>> No, I'm saying the trucks had multi-track as early as that and produced whistle-less tracks during the game. Before that, they didn't have microphones on the field. In both cases the ball game is available with no whistle...
