Re: I CANT HEAR MY PREVIOUS TRACK WHILE I RECORD ANOTHER ONE
You can start with the Audacity settings at the bottom of the Audio I/O panel.
Edit > Preferences > Audio I/O > Stuff At The Bottom.

Re: How do I morph two mp3s together.
Say that again and use different words. Make the end of one fade out and the beginning of the other fade in at the same time? Play them both at once each at half volume? Use one to modulate the other, like a vocoder? Do you have Windows set to show you File Extensions? How sure are you that your two...

<<<When I re-opened the project all recorded parts were empty>>> Did you leave out a word or two? ...opened the Project after I moved it? You can't move Audacity Projects or any of the original clips or included files. Audacity isn't a WAV editor. It's an Editorial Production Environment Manager and...

Any model numbers you can generate will make us very happy. You can't get too specific. Question Format http://www.kozco.com/tech/audacity/questio...

Re: Cannot record to CD
The CDA format is the format of the music on the Music CD. The Music CD authoring program should create those for you.

It would be handy to know what you were doing. If you were installing Skype, that creates all sorts of problems.

Re: Molding a tone to a given audio sample (matching silence
That's what the vocoder and other modulation tools do. You only get an output with the presence of both carrier (sine wave tone) and the performance (square wave). You must have seen the Peter Frampton Geico commercial? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0Pw2W6zIZI The guitar is only presented during t...
Re: E-Books
One more Music CD Mystery. Music CDs do not carry album or song titles. The only reason to type the titles in is to print them on a paper jacket for CD case or, if you have a talented enough ink jet printer and printable CDs, on the outside of the CD itself. We do not like paper sticky labels. They ...
