Re: Put project into its own folder, now no audio
You can't move Projects. The filenames and locations of the show are burned into the coding inside the AUP file. If reality and the AUP file do not match, the show dies. Put it all back. The graphics on the screen are created from two or more picture files. You can have perfect pictures and no show....

<<<I had 1.2.6 , but had trouble>>> Can you talk about that? <<<I edited and exported about 30 evp files>>> We try and avoid abbreviations. EVP? That's not a file type, is it? Do you have your Windows set so it does not hide file extensions? Do your files arrive during a search? Just looking at this...

That's half of what we need. Now we need the part between your lips and the computer. What microphone? Mixer? Connection type? Different types of microphone can have different problems.

Re: Sharp 'S' in vocals
Here... http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2103337 This isn't searchable for some reason. I had to find the blister pack and read the part numbers. 33-4006. When I use one of these on a tie-tack microphone, it does muffle the sound ever so slightly. Pretty much right down your all...

Re: Check Hz levels properly ?
You might want to change some of the spectrum analyzer settings. The tool is not the most useful at first birthday. Change the samples from 512 to anything over 8000 and change the display from linear to logarithmic. Grab the lower right edge and pull the screen as wide and tall as you can. The accu...

Re: Tone Generator
That one's more complicated since there is Stereo and Mono noise. I want the generators to follow the default preferences. At one time I wanted to generate a stand-alone, stereo 400Hz tone and it turned into a research task to get Left and Right out of what it gave me. You could derive a silly worka...

Re: Lost all sound after changing the .aup file name
One note, if you have the blue Audacity waveforms on your timeline, that just means you got the first two AU files inside the /Data folder working. Those two files are graphic files and draw the waves on your screen.
It's totally possible to have the blue waves and no show.

Re: Lost all sound after changing the .aup file name
http://kozco.com/tech/audacity/aup1.jpg This is a simple AUP file in graphic form. Note that the name of the AUP file a well as the names of all the components of the show are burned into the code. You can't change anything once you start to edit an Audacity Project. If you're not up to editing you...

Re: Signal the musician the entry
The tick or lead-in track. Usually four drum beats on the edge of the drum. Tick, Tick, Tick, Tick, Music. Four is usually enough to sync to the rhythm since you're not doing it cold. You already know that the song is and about how fast it goes. You can make your own and put that track at the top an...
