Re: How can i get the bass to play trough the subwoofer?
How is your bass connected? Audacity generally only plays two audio channels at once. You can have one channel of bass or stereo mids. Or one channel of bass and Left. Re: No sound getting through
Without insulting you, you are absolutely sure you pushed the 1/8" plug into the Mac connector labeled with the little circle and two black arrows, right, not the other one? All the way in as far as it would go? An internationally respected animation supervisor got this wrong in our shop once. ...

Re: Multi-Channel Simultaneous Recording Release
So this still isn't an Audacity problem. The computer and interface equipment in the middle has to be appropriate to the show. If somebody buys you an Alesis MultiMix 16 USB for your birthday and you plug it into your computer, then the exact same Audacity that had been recording stereo up until the...

About two thirds of the way down this page, there is a picture of the Windows Control Panel. Note the balance controls -- and you're going through two of them.

Re: Audacity hangs on startup
<<<I'm having the exact same problem with the beta version>>> You do need to get the order right. Uninstall Audacity 1.2, run the Registry Cleanup and Then install 1.3. Audacity will ask you "English?" on first birthday. If it doesn't ask that, then you are still standing on damaged prefer...

Re: SOUND BLEEDS FROM ONE CASSETTE TRACK TO ANOTHER
And most people who want that can't get it to work. You can also Record Pause audacity and when you start it up again, it will give you one long recording. Then you can select each segment and Export Selection. You can also put a label at the front of each song (Control-B )and Export Multiple. That ...

Re: Brennan JB7 - any feedback
Is there any reason you're not plugging your actual iPod into these services? http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2117891 I use mine for line-level testing all the time. The headset connection turns out a delightful line level to the sound system of your choice. Plug the power adap...

Re: input recoding levels
<<<is there a balance control on audacity that i have not seen?? >>> No, but there are balance controls on the Windows Control Panels. You're not clear how you're getting the sound into the computer, but if you're using the sound card and mechanical patch cables, pull each cable out, clean with glas...
