Audacity 1.3.8 takes a very specific lame download. I can't tell which one because you didn't tell us which computer you have.

If you already know how to mix a sound track with your animation, then all you need is to record your voice. The simplest way to do that -- as an experiment -- is to use the Mac built-in microphone. You downloaded music in a format Audacity doesn't understand. Convert the music to WAV with Super or Switch and then open it in Audacity. You can get Windows iTunes to do it, too.

This could be as simple as jamming a USB microphone into a computer, handing the hot part to the interviewee and ask questions. Press record in Audacity.
