Re: help
<<<if have a question about sending my beats to emails>>> For any kind of serious editing, you should be sharing WAV sound files. Those are easily edited and they suffer very little damage when you apply filters and effects. However. WAV files are very large and most email services cut you off at 10...

Re: very bassy recordings ...
<<<* effects preview - likewise - what's this for?>>> It can be joked that it exists so the developers can say they have one. Most of us choose a small portion of a show and add effects and fine tune and mess around until we get the work we want, and then apply that exact same correction to the whol...

Re: Export Multiple
You can safely "OK" that whole window without putting anything in any of the boxes. There is a setting in...
Preferences > Import/Export > Show Metadata Editor.
...which you can turn off and not get that window at all.

The meters are a big deal. View > ToolBars > Meter Toolbar. Play a sound clip and make sure the green bouncing lights meters work. You can download this known, good, working, short sound clip. http://www.kozco.com/tech/piano2.wav That should look more or less like this... http://kozco.com/tech/audac...

But what you probably did was close the project. Audacity has the annoying habit of closing everything when you do that.

Neither of you may have addressed the question.
<<<possibillity to set and use markers on a specific track.>>>
The way I read it is the ability to add markers to only one track out of several stacked tracks.

Re: Recording audio from MSN and Skype chat videos
<<<The volume of the person I'm talking with gets low when we both speak!>>> That, at least, is normal. Telephone (and video) systems can't keep both sides of the conversation open at the same time because that invites squeeling, feedback and echoes. The computer, hopefully in the background, ducks ...

Re: Could You Possibly Clean Up This Song?
Too late. http://www.kozco.com/test/Judys_Song-To_Ediit_5.wav If you're listening to this on a tiny computer sound system, it could seem like nothing happened, but if you listen on a much larger sound system, there is a very significant difference. You may notice that many of the clicks and pops are...
