Re: Plethora of annoying issues with Audacity- HELP!

<<<But like I said the data file was saved under a different name.>>> _Data Folder. The folder with all the little au files in it. Audacity doesn't just make up or change _data folder names on the fly. At one time, you had a Project with that name and that Project created the _data folder. Conversel...

Re: Plethora of annoying issues with Audacity- HELP!

I can throw more tools at you. You can open up your AUP file in NotePad or WordPad and read it. Remember, it's not a sound file. It's programming language. http://kozco.com/tech/audacity/aup1.jpg This one has had spaces and blank likes added to it to make it graphically clearer, but they all have th...

Re: Clip Fix..and Fix..and Fix..

All this came from my observation that I applied the tool multiple times and the show kept ...

Re: Removing clapping from an audio recording

You may be able to use Audacity 1.3 Effect > Click Removal. It's intended to remove cat hairs from phonograph records, but it might work for you. If he was too crazy with clapping, you might find that there is no music back there when you take the clap out.

Re: Convert mono mp3 to stereo without re-encoding

<<<Is this normal behavior for mono files? >>>

I was going to ask you why you found it necessary to convert to stereo. Most players just play mono out both channels.

Re: Plethora of annoying issues with Audacity- HELP!

<<<The stuff you said is not good to be in a name.>>> Those are OK. Upper and lower case letters, numbers, dash and underscore are acceptable in all three computer platforms' file names. I need to exchange files in the company divisions all over the world, so I don't use spaces either. <<<So I guess...
