My model Blue Spark doesn't have those switches for some reason The newer model Spark SL has the switches. Your Focus Control is a low-pitch rumble filter when pushed in. It was taken over by the newer straight-line/bent-line switch. Neither makes any difference because step one in Audacity Audiobo...

Re: Monitoring
Got it. If the Apogee had no provision to mix local microphone with computer playback audio, then we're stuck.
The UM2 has that DIRECT MONITOR button on the front. That's what it does. Monitors outgoing sound, in hardware, with zero latency.

Re: Monitoring
I know nobody in their right mind would use earbuds for mixing, but they were handy for the photo. If it's voice you could always use the classic technique. https://www.kozco.com/tech/audacity/pix/GaryOwens.jpg Before you scoff, that's exactly what this lady is doing. Only one headphone muff. Re: Monitoring

Re: Help: one voice is very loud, one very low and grainy
If you can't understand the far side voice no matter what, then that's the end. If you can get there by jacking the volume control around, then, yes, we may be able to help—a little. I need to drop for a minute.

Re: Vocal Reduction and Isolation
two wave stereo for sure. Why do you know that? What did you measure or what test did you do? Just because you have two tracks doesn't mean you have a left and right separated stereo show. These are the instructions for Reduction and Isolation. https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/vocal_reduction_an...
