Edit > Undo didn't work? If you did production after you performed the silent find, then I believe you need to back up through all the effects until you get to Silent Finder.

Sound peaks in the minus 6 to minus 3 range on the bouncing volume meter. Lower is safer if you have someone who likes to get dynamic during the performance. You can use Amplify, Normalize, and Chris's Compressor after final production to level everything out as long as the segments aren't too far o...

Audacity will not save a sound file. Export As WAV to get a music file that you can burn to a Music CD in Windows Media or other progam.

Audacity will Save an AUP file which will open up in NotePad. Audacity will Export a sound file.

The pop and click removal tools are very highly thought of and recommended, however, you don't have "noise." Noise is defined as one continuous interfering sound that's constant over the whole performance. Unchanging air conditioning rumble through an entire interview is "noise."...

Mono microphone sockets have two connections, but they're not both sound.
