Re: 3.5mm mic's into mixer output to pc?
<<<My bad, yes 2 plugs. One pink, one black.>>> No, you're fine, the web site declines to tell anyone about the connections. I know, I looked. I keep getting drawn into the system I designed for one of the conference rooms at work. It came in about $200USD. Four cheap (self-powered) Radio Shack micr...

<<<4ms of latency which I would prefer to be 0ms.>>> Many people have that opinion. <<<It comes with ASIO drivers >>> To get rid of the latency, yes. But Audacity doesn't support ASIO, so the best you can do is configure the system for whatever drivers Windows has. I suspect that's what's happening ...

Re: Microphone to Speakers Live Output
That's a close cousin to a question further up the forum. This was my answer. If by "Artificial Amplifier" you mean getting the computer's own sound system to amplifier the guitar, you might be able to get Audacity to do that. Step One. Upgrade to Audacity 1.3.12. http://audacityteam.org/d...

<<<How do I get audio VBR instead of CBR?>>> In MP3 export? Upgrade to Audacity 1.3.12 (or whichever is current). MP3 characteristics are set at the export step and VBR is one of the options. http://audacityteam.org/download/ You can install Audacity 1.2 and 1.3 but only use one at a time. Audacity ...

You also have to dig in the Windows Control Panels and make sure the microphone or Line-In or whatever yours says is the only thing selected. Not Mix-Out, Stereo-Mix or What-U-Hear.

Re: 3.5mm mic's into mixer output to pc?
Don't go crazy until we unscramble you. The headset information is supremely unhelpful. Do you have two plugs hanging from each headset, say one pink and one black? You have an almost there system. The headsets are designed to plug into a computer. The stereo earpieces get their sound from the headp...
