Re: 3.5mm mic's into mixer output to pc?
<<<From there all I have to come with is the talent and content for my show... Does that sound correct?>>> Almost. That will take you up to four. The original show had eight. The adapter isn't difficult. I can post the wiring diagram and picture. We use those adapters in multiple places around the b...

Re: How To "Remaster" Older Audio?
Hitting maximum, while technically is not a problem, almost always means distortion on volume peaks. It may not if: -- You Amplified or Normalized a show to the default value of zero. -- You are managing computer generated music which can be controlled to go straight up to the zero distortion point ...

Re: How To "Remaster" Older Audio?
There is a very restructed ability to post attachments here in the forum, but it's limited in size and even less useful if you need to post large WAV samples. There are web file hosting services which will allow you to park larger files for distribution against the hope that you're going to run out ...

<<<"comb filter"effect going on.>>> Oh, that's good. I missed that. I've been capturing voice audio recently, so I picked up on the slightly odd audio quality immediately. A sound friend in Florida once told me to chill out. That I was going to hear things on the set that never make it to ...

Qualified yes. The MIDI part is irrelevant. You record from any keyboard by adapting the Headphone Out or the Line-Out to the Line-In of your Mac. Music does not go down the MIDI cable. http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2062468 http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productI...

Re: Problems with recording from skype
"Skype isn't jack-aware". I prefer the more global "Skype doesn't play well with others." You can depend on Skype taking over your computer and the normal sound services, both directions. That's what it does to make sure of it's success. What the recording software packages do is...

Re: 3.5mm mic's into mixer output to pc?
There are commercial headsets. Spears continues to use the same mic she favored when she first started performing — a Crown 311 headset. “It sounds good, it works; it's actually the same one. Anyone who is a fan of Britney can see it's actually the same mic — we have a few of them,” Suib says. When ...
