Open two of the sound files. It doesn't matter which windows they're in. Go to the second one and Edit > Select > All. Copy. Go the first one. End > Paste. Repeat. It's not the lame version. A number of us are able to recreate the damage on our own wildly divergent systems. Compression systems sometimes do that.
