The difference between the two speeds is about 124.
1.8675 % of 6655 is about 124
6530.5 is 124 less than 6655.
I think it's as close as you can get with the numbers available.
I get 1.8332%. Try that for a more accurate match.

Re: Unable to Record
Because of the stereo USB interface included with the package, the computer and Audacity have to be configured for Stereo. And that part, at least, does work. You do get some sound through the system. Cast your gaze on the mixer. Unplug everything but the microphone (and the power). You can send the...

Re: Recording from multiple USB mics
Didn't we do this to death a little while ago? There was commonly available hardware that would let you capture six or eight discrete "analog" channels in a synchronized bitstream with no damage.
I gotta check.

Re: Unable to Record
<<<So.... progress....>>> It could have been the Repair Permissions or it could have been when you trashed the preferences files. Either of those can cause odd behavior for different reasons. You did trash the preference files, right? Now we're down to normal sound problems which I'll get to. I need...

Re: Simple Recording Help
You can have hardware that fogs the issue as well. If I record from the single (clearly mono) microphone in my laptop, I get a stereo track with my voice on both sides. The laptop assumes (usually correctly) that most people don't have mono shows or mono systems and everything in a production should...

Re: Need to sync 2 sources that run at different speeds
This is a sister to the poster who wants to plug multiple USB microphones into his computer. Unless they're locked to each other, the show will have resync clicks or pops on occasion as the two signals drift from each other.

Re: Recording from multiple USB mics
<<<I guess I'll keep using Krystal Engine for now, then.>>> Please note that even with Krystal Engine, you still get ticks on occasion as the two bitstreams "catch up" with each other, and that effect will change with the microphone. Plug in two cheap USB microphones and you could have res...

Re: Unable to Record
You can have scrambled permissions and get problems like this. Go > Utilities > Disk Utilities. Select your system drive and Verify Disk and then when that's done, Repair Permissions. You can get serious Mac interaction problems like that if you didn't install Audacity right. Read through this insta...

Re: Movin to beta version problems.
Thank you for that description. This could still be interaction between the Mac, the OS and Audacity. I'm typing on a 1.83 GHz Intel Core Duo Mac Mini with 2GB RAM. It's running Tiger OS-X 10.4.11 (I can't upgrade because of software version problems.) My Audacity is 1.3.12. The Mac info is under Ap...

What was producing the two tracks? Exactly which hardware?
