Re: Recording Guitar Solos has poor quality

If you stick with us long enough, I bet we can cure that, too. You're not supposed to need all those steps and a simple recording should sound clear and clean.

Re: Recording a radio play

AUP files aren't sound files. Audacity will not save a sound file. To get a file for posting, Export As FLAC and post that. FLAC isn't the most popular sound format, but it will not damage the music and performs mild compression.

Re: Multiple Voice Tracks

Oh, so you want to assign, for example, the third mic to track 1.

Can't you record what you have and then use the Move Track Up and Move Track Down commands in the left-hand drop-down menu?

Mind telling us which drivers you're using?

Re: Digitizing Analog

<<<Forgot to mention Koz>>> Thank you. Doing a credit roll is always an exercise in trying to remember who did what. It's not trivial. On large productions there is a human whose task it is to keep track of this stuff. I always wondered what that person put on their résumé/CV. Koz

Re: Problem on recording my voice

So close. It should not make any difference which digital sound standard you use. Music CD should work as well as the others given that it's very slightly lower quality than the one you're using now. Munyee is posting from Malaysia, so that's the time zone. If you find the Sound Activated Recording ...

I guess this won't be the first time..... ------------ M-Audio Help Forum -------------- Are you using the M-Audio ASIO driver? In your recording softwareís audio preferences, make sure that you learn how to select the M-Audio ASIO driver rather than the MME, WDM, ASIO4ALL or Multimedia ASIO drivers...

<<<a lot of my projects are going unfinished because of this!>>> And may stay that way for a while.
