<<<Have a look at the Vocoder effect in 1.3.12.>>>

Those tools take two "things" or sounds to work. What would your two things be?

Re: lower the background score

You can't generally take a mixed music selection apart into instruments, voice being one. Everybody gazes longingly at the Vocal Removal tools, but they fail many more times than they succeed. If the music is old enough, it's in mono and there are no tools for that. I suspect if he already speaks, H...

Re: Need notch filter but all there is is a doc to download

Re: Audacity and Media Player on Windows 7 notebooks

We are seeing multiple real-world problems. -- Rejection of computer USB battery noise is expensive and generally left out of cheap equipment. This is the "I can hear my hard drive spinning up in my show" problem. This is one reason my iMic is in the car park. -- Rejection of radio interfe...

Re: Start/stop recording based on external switch?

Audacity doesn't create a file until you export which would be at the end of the process and not necessarily at the end of the recording. In any event, it wouldn't give you anything useful. If you only got three loud seconds of performance each hour for 12 hours, you would have one thirty six second...
