Most audiophiles cringe at the idea of using an analog pathway like that, so it's not high on the list of recommendations. That and you left out one or two teensy details like it was a home-burned DVD with a straight stereo track and not a Commercial Movie. You wouldn't need fully two thirds of that...

The packages were recommendations from others. I haven't used any of them. Just getting them to work straight would be hard enough. Trying to fade in and out of the effect would be really pushing it.
