Re: Tweaking a voice
this of course was not applied on this test recording Terrific. In my opinion you're slightly too close to the microphone for two reasons: Your voice volume waves are too tall. Screen Shot 2020-06-07 at 10.50.42.png The waves should never go all the way up and down and that first word is dangerousl...

Re: Pyle pmxu43bt mixer is recognized, but does not record
The Pyle has volume meters. Can you make the 3 green lights come on comfortably? Is it buzzing in your headphones connected to the Pyle?
Don't start diagnostics with Audacity. That's the last thing down the chain.

Re: ACX Check fails in 2.4.1
How about you wrote "Noise Sleuth." If the performer fails Legacy ACX Check, run Noise Sleuth to help sort what happened and where.

This is an 84 minute simple voice performance. I measured it in 20 minute chunks and it passes with noise hovering in the -61dB to -62dB range.

Re: Expand Waveform on Screen
There's a setting that keeps the blue waves from automatically scrolling left to right. That may be handy during recording, but it's a nightmare when you're editing. I'll find the setting any second now.

But there are many more. https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/zooming.html Slide the show back and for...

Have you tried PZM mics on the wall or ceiling? Pressure Zone Microphone. That's the formal version of the rock band microphone glued to the piece of plywood. That trick has been around for a while. That showed up here. MicrophonesDesignandApplication-burroughs.jpg Any other restrictions? You have ...

Excellent. Do you remember what the treble boost was that you liked? If you launch Bass and Treble again, the boost value should be still there.Per request ....
What's the microphone? Model numbers?

Re: Multichannel with Focusrite Scarlett
Oh, right. One more important one. ASIO software is a driver software gift directly from the angels...but Audacity doesn't support it. Even ASIO4ALL. It's a licensing thing. I think this is as close as I'm likely to get. https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/faq_recording_how_to_s.html#Can_I_record_fr...
