Audacity is a terrible converter. You should use Super or Switch (download).

Re: Importing not working... bad file?
When a recorder is capturing work, it has to stop every so often and "close" the files so to make them useful to other applications. That's about when the batteries fell out. So the second half of the show is likely to be malformed trash.

Re: TRACK MENU (WHERE IS IT )
Photoshop has a tool like that, but their arrow points sideways, LSPBT. It's responsible for quite a number of help questions. "How do I get to the 'Flatten Image' tools?" Click on the LSPBT... I see later versions surround the arrow with a circle and shadow. Much more obvious that it's a ...

We assume an "easy" way to get to the tools that only ever affect that one track.

Re: Strange Noise occurs when I implement Noise Removal!
Yes. That's what Audacity 1.2 noise reduction sounds like. That particular error, bubbly, gargly, honky, is overcorrection. Re: Multi-tracking goes out of sync
A half-second out after a three minute song but they start in sync? You can have sound cards that do that. Affordable sound cards frequently play sound a tiny bit off from where it should and it's possible for them to record a bit off the other way. Nobody notices until you try to sing to yourself. ...

Re: keeps saying trial in my recordings
Since there is no trial of Audacity, you didn't get Audacity. Some download sites slide a different package in for you to download. Naughty, naughty. So delete whatever you have and install Audacity 1.3.12 from here: http://audacityteam.org/download/ Audacity 1.2 is no longer supported and can becom...

Re: Exported mp3s have scratch like hesitations.
128 is the encoding quality where most people don't notice any damage. By 64 on a stereo show, some people, a significant number, can hear sound degradation. By 32 on a stereo show, most people can tell there's something wrong. Honky, Bubbling. You can move all those numbers down by one for a mono s...

Re: How to Export a Voice Recording On Mac OSX
MP3, oddly enough, is licensed software. It's money-based, so Audacity can not include it in the basic editing package. You have to install extra software as a separate event.
