Does it do that just before your cellphone rings? We have two audio systems in the company that collapse whenever anyone in the room gets a cell call.

That's a good one. The two ends of your question don't match. Analyze Spectrum that doesn't go further up than 6KHz should sound muddy, dull, flat and restricted like an AM radio. Not tinny, harsh, and insubstantial. You also missed an important step: "I exported a wav file for later use."...

You can sometimes do better by leaving both tracks one above the other and using the envelope tool to turn one on and then the other. Neither clip changes size or location. If you want one of them to appear earlier or later, then you can use the Time Shift tool -- White button with two black arrows....

You misunderstood the RF post. You can have radio interference entering the computer that is 20 Hz higher or lower than a radio signal that's supposed to be inside the computer -- like one of the switching regulators or one of the processor clock signals. If the manufacturer is very clear about the evils of capturing on-line content, it's a simple matter to leave that software out of their drivers. Internet Capture depends on the Operating System, the Sound Card, and the Driver Software to all be willing to do it at the same time. If any one of them ...

Even if you do manage to get all the words in the right order, there's going to be almost zero chance that it will be a convincing performance. Story tellers, announcers, and voice talent also use expression, pitch changes, meter, and rhythm to tell the story. So you have to match all those up, too....
